No doubt, Nerlens Noel has the talent. However, his health has obviously been the question for years, but as it turns out, there is an even bigger concern that needs to be addressed within the young center.
According to The Vertical’s Adrian Wojnarowski, Noel, despite being on the trading block for months, has managed to scare away other teams due to his attitude.
“Nerlens Noel in Philly, the research teams have done on him is not good. They don’t get good reports back on their intel, how he’s carried himself there, of his habits. It’s not a great return. There are teams willing to do the deal and bring him in, but they don’t want to give up much.”
After a solid campaign last season, things haven’t been right for the big man out of Kentucky so far this year. Noel has failed to get a break with setback after setback, and his allegedly questionable work ethic isn’t doing him any favors either.
Joel Embiid has secured himself in the Sixers’ front, leaving Noel and Jahlil Okafor as the team’s potential trade centerpieces. Nerlens Noel’s stock isn’t getting better by the day. Either he proves all the critics wrong or be left behind.
