Memphis Grizzlies forward James Ennis will miss the next two weeks with a strained calf, according to ESPN's Tim MacMahon.

Ennis suffered the injury in Monday night's game against the Charlotte Hornets.

The 26-year-old is averaging 9.1 points, 5.3 rebounds, 1.4 assists, and 0.9 steals on 44.2 percent shooting from the floor and 34.1 percent from deep through 14 games this season.

The Grizzlies (9-5) are already without the services of starter Chandler Parsons, who will be out at least two weeks with a bone bruise in his left knee (not the one that cut his last season short).

Memphis will likely need to heavily rely on veteran Vince Carter to carry the load at small forward in the meantime. The 39-year-old has had a couple of 20-point games to his name coming off the bench, and his shot-making can help a team that is still changing and trying to figure out the pieces that will fit correctly in head coach David Fizdale‘s system.
