After having already lost point guard Avery Bradley for game 2 due to a hamstring injury, the Celtics may now also be without Kelly Olynyk after missing Monday's practice and being ruled as questionable with a shoulder injury.

The injury limited Olynyk to only 12 minutes in the Celtics' 102-101 loss to the Atlanta Hawks on Sunday night.

“During the game, you could definitely tell something wasn't the same as it was for the start,” said Olynyk, according to ESPN's Chris Horsberg. “Hopefully just a little rest and recovery and get back out there.”

The Celtics' big man was held out of Monday's practice with the hope that the extra day of rest will help the shoulder recover further before game 2 on Tuesday night. He missed 12 games in the regular season, also due to a shoulder injury.

Asked how he was feeling, Olynyk responded, “Just sore, pain, discomfort. I'm just trying to get it back.”  When asked if he thought he'd be able to play in game 2, he said he was “hopeful” he will be able to play on Tuesday, though he admitted it will largely depend on how his shoulder is feeling come game time.

Down 0-1 to the Hawks and now possibly without their big man and point guard, things are not looking good for the Celtics in the first round of the playoffs.
