Russell Westbrook‘s triple-double performances have become a norm this season. Every time he steps on the court, his fans are expecting him to come up with one, and he's not disappointed them so far as he is leading the league in that department.

During the game on Wednesday between the Philadelphia 76ers and his Oklahoma City Thunder, The Brodie notched his 35th of the season. However, it wasn't just any ordinary one as he once again made history by becoming the first player to record a triple-double without missing a shot, finishing the game 6-for-6 from the field and also from the free-throw line.

Westbrook's incredible feat feat on the night also brought him closer to averaging a triple-double through the entire regular season, with only 11 games left on their schedule. He currently averages 31.4 points, 10.5 rebounds and 10.3 assists. And he is now just six triple-doubles away with 11 games remaining from tying Oscar Robertson's single-season record of 41.

More importantly for the Thunder, they have now won six of their last seven games and are giving themselves a chance to move up the standings to possibly end up with the fourth or fifth seed in the Western Conference. Their run of success couldn't have come at a better time as well as it will give them a lot of momentum once the playoffs start.
