Shaquille O'Neal is one of the greatest centers to ever play in the NBA, but he chose not to rank himself on his all-time starting five list.
A day before he heads into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame, O'Neal chose to recognize other legends when asked to name five greats that rank above the rest.
Here's O'Neal's list:
PG: Magic Johnson
SG: Michael Jordan
SF: Julius Erving
PF: Karl Malone
C: Bill Russell
Two of these Hall of Famers, Erving and Russell, will present O'Neal at his induction ceremony on Friday. Isiah Thomas and Alonzo Mourning will serve as presenters for the Big Aristotle as well.
While Shaq was modest enough to not include himself on his own list, there are surely other all-time starting fives from fellow players and fans that include O'Neal.
