The story of the basketball summer, other than the Kyrie Irving trade drama, has been the EuroBasket 2017. While many NBA players decided to skip the tournament, such as Denver Nuggets young stud Nikola Jokic, others have joined their national teams.

One pair of brothers never missed out on playing for their countries. Of course, it is Pau and Marc Gasol. While both are playing great, the older brother is just on another level.

The San Antonio Spurs big man is playing the best tournament of his career, and the most impressive stat is his PER. The more experienced brother is currently boasting a 55.1 PER. In comparison, Wilt Chamberlain is the current NBA single season record-holder in this stat with a ‘measly' 31.82.

Of course, this is after only three played games. Gasol actually missed the game against Romania, but even without that one, his stat line is very impressive. He is currently averaging 15.7 points, 8.7 rebounds and 1.3 blocks per game on 57.1 percent shooting from the field. Possibly the most impressive thing is that Gasol is doing this at the age of 37.

Now, of course, this is only a short tournament compared to the long NBA season, but Gasol is definitely showing that his time is not yet up.

Spain has four wins in four games, beating Croatia for first place in the group. It will be facing the fourth team in group D, which will most likely be one of the hosts, Turkey.
