Per usual, Stephen Curry refused to take the bait from the media.

Following the Golden State Warriors‘ Game 6 victory to keep their Western Conference Finals series with the Oklahoma City Thunder alive, Kevin Durant was asked if Curry's defense is underrated.

Russell Westbrook, who was in the press conference as well, began laughing as Durant said he believes it's in OKC's favor for Curry to guard Russ. KD also stated that Curry usually doesn't defend the NBA's best guards, with Klay Thompson and Andre Iguodala doing much of the heavy-lifting instead.

Later on, another reporter asked Curry about Durant's comments. Rather than fire back with more bulletin board material, he simply said that Thompson is a better defender than him on the perimeter, and that who he guards is completely dependent on head coach Steve Kerr‘s gameplan.

Curry did mention that he's been working hard on his defense over the past few seasons, and it shows. In fact, he's actually done pretty well when guarding Westbrook.

The rest of this series, like the first five games, should be fantastic. Game 6 tips off Saturday night at 9:00 PM EST.
