The Golden State Warriors might be without the reigning MVP Stephen Curry on Saturday night against the New Orleans Pelicans, slated as “doubtful” due to a left knee contusion, according to ESPN's Chris Haynes.

Curry did not practice on Friday, making his appearance for Saturday a rather unlikely one — though the organization deems the injury a minor one.

The team will have another one of their offensive weapons back in the lineup with Kevin Durant finally reinstated into the starting core.

Head coach Steve Kerr plans to play his star forward without any minute restrictions, given that the ligament has healed, per Anthony Slater of the San Jose Mercury News.

Durant was seen working out with team consultant Steve Nash, going around picks and shooting off the dribble.

Without Curry, Durant will have an opportunity to take most of the shots within the offense and get himself in a rhythm before the playoffs. Kerr claims his two-way star will see his usual time on the floor and that is he's fatigued, he won't hesitate to pull him.

The Warriors have raced to 13 straight wins after Wednesday's 120-111 win over the Phoenix Suns and are likely to give players a rest here and there throughout the last four games of the season as they tune up for the playoffs.
