Stephen Curry managed to still impress the Golden State Warriors home crowd despite a poor shooting performance against the New York Knicks, taking just about everyone by surprise after winning a jump ball against center Joakim Noah.

Curry, standing at 6-foot-3, had an eight inch height disadvantage against Noah — and that's not even considering the wingspan factor, which is even more tilted toward Noah's favor.

The Warriors sharpshooter timed his jump impeccably and batted the ball at its apex, nearly scoring in his own basket in the effort.

While the play had its merit and a loud ovation, Warriors fans can't help but hold their breath, given as how unfortunate injuries can happen when two men are up in the air competing for a ball.

The jump ball had much resemblance to another one of its kind between Detroit Pistons iconic point guard Isiah Thomas and Chicago Bulls center Will Purdue. Zeke gets pretty high up there.

Apparently Stephen Curry was feeling springy prior to Thursday night's 103-90 win over the Knicks, hence the bounce-to-the-oop 360 dunk he put on during shootaround.
