The Philadelphia Eagles are a surprising playoff contender this season, but their roster still has its fair share of holes. One of the most striking is their lack of a big-play receiver.

That's where Terrell Owens would like to fill in. The six-time Pro Bowler spent two years with the franchise, reaching the only Super Bowl of his career. He hasn't played in a NFL game since 2010, but he's maintained an incredible physique, and he wants to make a grand return to Philly.

Before the Eagles' victory over the Falcons on Sunday, Owens doubled down on his previous plea to play alongside Carson Wentz with this tweet from Portugal:

A few weeks back, Owens publicly reached out to the Eagles about a possible comeback. There's no indication that Philadelphia has any interest, but that hasn't stopped TO from trying again.

Owens previously attempted a comeback in 2012, playing for the Allen Wranglers before joining Seattle‘s practice squad. Considering he couldn't make a roster then, it's unlikely that he'll be able to do so four years later.
