The Utah Jazz had been aggressive during the summer signing free agents and acquiring veterans to solidify their roster.

They aren't out of cap money yet either, but they do have to make a tough decision.

The team has to make a decision on whether they should extend point guard George Hill or big man Derrick Favors.

After signing Rudy Gobert to a $102 million extension, Hill appears to be the more likely candidate for the extension, according to ESPN's Marc Stein.

Hill's experience and leadership qualities are things they feel add value to the team and makes him an attractive player. His contract ends this season, and he will become an unrestricted free agent if they are unsuccessful at extending him.

In a similar manner to what Oklahoma City did with Russell Westbrook, the Jazz can add the full $13 million to Hills current salary of $8 million to raise his earnings to $22 million.
