Throughout its history in the NBA, the Golden State Warriors organization's most exciting era until now has been the Run TMC era of the 90's.

Tim Hardaway, Mitch Richmond, and Chris Mullin never managed to win a championship but dazzled opponents on a nightly basis with head coach Don Nelson leading the way using his up-tempo style basketball.

The current Warriors have planned to honor that era and bring a bit of its excitement back by wearing a Run TMC era hybrid throwback jerseys for six games during the 2016-2017 season.

The team officially announced the crossover nights on Friday, releasing a statement and the dates.

The new Crossover alternate uniform harkens back to the “Run TMC” era Warriors of the early 90’s and features the very same diagonal lettering worn by the team then, mixed with the color scheme and design of the jerseys the team wears on the road now.

The Warriors will wear the Crossover alternate uniform for the following games:

  • Sunday, October 30th at Phoenix
  • Sunday, November 13th vs. Phoenix
  • Sunday, January 22nd at Orlando
  • Sunday, March 5th at New York
  • Sunday, March 26th vs. Memphis
  • Sunday, April 2nd vs. Washington

The uniform is just a tad modified to fit the modern era of basketball, but mixes the old and new for the complete look.
