Philadelphia 76ers fans have a lot of reason to feel positive about next season. Their team is expected to be at full strength with Ben Simmons on pace to finally make his debut for them. However, that's not the only development on the 20-year-old Australian.

After being honored by the Cleveland Cavaliers last week, World B. Free talked about the potential of Simmons to become a dominant player in the league. He also added that he grew two inches since last year and is now very close to 7-feet.

“It seems like Ben Simmons grew about two inches since he’s been here. I told him that the other day, I said Ben, you look like you’ve grown another two inches since you’ve been here”.

“He’s long, he’s lean, he’s in shape. When I watch him in practice — just in practice — he’s like a baby Magic Johnson. He’s practiced with LeBron [James], he has worked out with LeBron, so LeBron is probably going to beat him up and make him strong.”

Simmons last played in the NBA Summer League last year where he showcased his ability to score in different ways, as well as his playmaking skills. Should it be true that he indeed grew by two inches, he will become an even more difficult matchup for opposing teams as his height could cause a lot of mismatches for the smaller guards and forwards of the league.

During his stint with LSU, he made a name for himself as an all-around player, with length and court-vision that make him a scarier threat to opponents. Given his unique skillset, the Sixers will definitely have one of the tallest lineups, especially when he plays alongside the team's other big men in Joel Embiid, Dario Saric, Richaun Holmes, and Jahlil Okafor.
