Andrew Wiggins poured in a career-high 47 points against the Los Angeles Lakers on Sunday night.
Just a few nights after putting up a 36-point career high against the Brooklyn Nets, Wiggins continued the hot hand before leaving the game to a standing ovation.
He joins a cast of past Timberwolves stars that reached the 40 point mark including retired legend Kevin Garnett, and Kevin Love.
Wiggins is also one of two Canadian-born players, the other being Steve Nash, to score at such a high rate.
To celebrate Wiggins’ new achievement, teammate Zach Lavine slyly decided to pour a cool cup of water over his head during his postgame interview for a job well done.
Hopefully for the T-Wolves that water doesn't cool off Wiggins permanently – they'll need him to keep playing at a high level to put their young team into playoff contention this season.
