The Memphis Grizzlies will sport a different look this season with new faces in the starting lineup. According to a report from Grizzlies writer Alexis Morgan, big man Zach Randolph will come off the bench this season while third-year forward JaMychal Green will get starts at the four-spot.

It seems like the coaching staff and Randolph have kept things very straight forward so far, with both understanding Memphis' new direction. The team will sport a much younger and athletic lineup with Green expected to see an uptick in minutes, plus new acquisition Chandler Parsons likely getting the bulk of touches in the rotation.

“I’m fine with it,” Randolph said, per Ronald Tillery of the Commercial Appeal. “You know how I am. Whatever is best for the team. Being a man, telling me the why and why not. That’s all you can ask for.”

Randolph's numbers have slowly declined as the Grizzlies have shaved his minutes through the years. He averaged 15.3 points and 7.8 rebounds per game last season, which was the first time he's failed to average a double-double in a season in which he's made at least 50 appearances since 2005-06.

Green showed great potential while coming off the bench last season, averaging 14.4 points and 9.3 rebounds per 36 minutes, according to Basketball-Reference.com. He's nine years younger than Zach Randolph and has a significant spring in his step in comparison to the veteran.

The 35-year-old Randolph will have his minutes monitored once again, allowing him to still perform at a high level in a role he hasn't played since his early days in a Portland Trail Blazers uniform.
