The Chicago Bears are coming off one of their most important offseasons in recent memory. Between free agency and their 2024 NFL Draft selections, the Bears are set to make a new mark in their franchise.

The Bears were lucky enough to have two first-round picks, including the No. 1 overall pick, with which they selected quarterback Caleb Williams. They followed that up by picking wide receiver Rome Odunze at No. 9. Bears fans are likely in high anticipation of the upcoming season, especially after the 2024 schedule release. They'll be tied with the third-easiest schedule, per ESPN. So, let's take a look and give a game-by-game prediction for each opponent the Bears will face in 2024.

Week 1 vs. Tennessee Titans

Bears fans will be treated to a Week 1 home game and welcome the new look Tennessee Titans to Soldier Field. The Titans have made massive upgrades to their offense in the offseason, as have the Bears, which makes this one difficult. Titans' quarterback Will Levis had just a handful of starts before getting injured last season, but it's a whole new coaching staff for him this year. It's not a comfortable pick but the Bears win their opener over the Titans in a close one. WIN

Record: 1-0

Week 2 at Houston Texans (Sunday Night Football)

The biggest surprise last year was how much improved the Texans were. The Bears are hoping for that type of improvement in 2024. But Houston made further upgrades to their team through free agency and trades. This could be one of Williams' biggest early tests of the season, facing Rookie Defensive Player of the Year Will Anderson all day, albeit in his first primetime game. LOSS

Record: 1-1

Week 3 at Indianapolis Colts

Anthony Richardson will hopefully be back healthy for the Colts. We just got flashes of him last year, so this will really be his rookie year re-do. Quarterback battles like this one between him and Williams are what the NFL is hoping for. These teams haven't played each other since 2020, which, to no surprise, the Bears lost. The last time the Bears were in Indianapolis was later than that, back in 2016 — again, in another loss. It will be a different story for the Bears this time, however. WIN

Record: 2-1

Week 4 vs. Los Angeles Rams

Following up two tough games on the road, the Bears get to come back home to face… the Rams. It will be the Rams third road game in the first four weeks of the season, including two primetime games, only to follow that up with hosting the 49ers the next week. That includes a trip to Detroit on Sunday Night Football in Week 1. Heading back to the east coast three weeks later will be tough. Bears win an upset. WIN

Record: 3-1

Week 5 vs. Carolina Panthers

The Panthers still have plenty of holes in their team, even after free agency and the draft. The question is, have they solved how to protect Bryce Young in Year 2? Then again, I'm not sure what the Bears did to improve their pass rush. Last year, they were next to last in team sacks, just ahead of the Panthers. Still, the Bears at home seem like the play here. WIN

Record: 4-1

Week 6 vs. Jacksonville Jaguars (London)

The Bears make their first trip across the pond since 2019 and third overall. The Jaguars, however, are used to playing in London. This will be their 12th visit, holding a record of 6-5. They'll then follow it up the next week playing the Patriots in the same stadium. So, with that, I'm taking Jacksonville here since it's becoming a home away from home for them. LOSS

Record: 4-2

Week 7 – BYE

Week 8 at Washington Commanders

Once the the 2024 NFL schedule was released, a lot probably circled this game being that it could potentially be the battle between the No. 1 and No. 2 overall picks from the draft. Seeing which quarterback looks more prepared using the weapons around him makes this matchup exciting, as both have some noteworthy skill position players. It might all come down to which quarterback makes fewer mistakes. In this case, I'll go with the No. 1 overall pick. WIN

Record: 5-2

Week 9 at Arizona Cardinals

Williams and Kyler Murray is likely another matchup that many could have circled on the Bears' 2024 schedule. It's a game between two teams who accounted for three of the top 10 picks in this year's draft. So, we'll all get the pleasure to watch Odunze and Marvin Harrison Jr. in the same game. The Cardinals have drafted really well the last couple of years, and a healthy Murray gives the birds a W over the Bears. LOSS

Record: 5-3

Week 10 vs. New England Patriots

Back at home for three games, Williams and Odunze will start with a post-Bill Belichick Patriots team when they meet in Week 10. Even if Belichick were there, I'm not sure it would matter, as this is a team starving for starters. Teams like the Bears will be picking up their wins against New England in the upcoming season. WIN

Record: 6-3

Week 11 vs. Green Bay Packers

For the first time since 2018, the Bears will finally beat the Packers, and in even better fashion, at home. This victory may feel like it counts for more than one and could be a defining moment in Chicago's season and a sign of change, putting them as one of the best teams in the NFC. WIN

Record: 7-3

Week 12 vs. Minnesota Vikings

The series was split last season, but the Bears lost at home to the Vikings. Taking splits with division rivals will be better than what the Bears have done over the last several years. But they lose to Minnesota again at home, who is still well-coached and has playmakers on both sides. LOSS

Record: 7-4

Week 13 at Detroit Lions (Thanksgiving)

The Lions actually were upset by the Bears last season in early December, held to just 13 points. But that was in Chicago. The Lions lost just two games at home last season but one of those was their usual Thanksgiving blunder. They haven't won on Turkey Day since 2016. The streak will continue with the Bears getting the upset. WIN

Record: 8-4

Week 14 at San Francisco 49ers

The Bears' road schedule is a bit challenging in 2024. They face four playoff teams from last season and one that was on the bubble. The 49ers, however, were the NFC Champions and will be looking again to make it back. This could be a low-scoring game, where defenses make the difference. The advantage goes to the Niners, who are just too talented on both sides of the ball. LOSS

Record: 8-5

Week 15 at Minnesota Vikings

The Vikings will be the one division foe the Bears can't conquer in 2024. By this time, JJ McCarthy could be starting for Minnesota, making for another battle between two top 10 picks. LOSS

Record: 8-6

Week 16 vs. Detroit Lions

The Bears will upset the Lions but it won't be at Soldier Field, even if the elements do go against Detroit, who favor their domed stadium. LOSS

Record: 8-7

Week 17 vs. Seattle Seahawks (Thursday Night Football)

Both of these teams could be fighting for one of the last remaining playoff spots in the NFC, or they could be completely out of contention. If there's nothing to play for, it will be interesting to see how Williams reacts. Let's assume the Bears are in contention and that they give Chicago something to cheer about. WIN

Record: 9-7

Week 18 at Green Bay Packers

Many are likely hoping this will be one of the matchups to watch for years to come between Williams and Jordan Love. But for Bears fans, they're just hoping this becomes an actual rivalry again. Chicago has lost 10 straight and is just 2-18 in their last 20 meetings, according to The Football Database. If Williams and this new Bears offense pull off the team's first win in Green Bay in almost a decade, then you'll know Chicago has likely found their guy. But I don't believe this will be the year. The Bears finish two games better than last year. LOSS

Record: 9-8
