Although Jamal Murray was initially listed as questionable on the injury report, many believe he would be playing in Game 7 against the Timberwolves. Especially considering he suited up in Game 6. Additionally, it's a win-or-go home situation for Denver.

With that being said, it's not a surprise when he was officially upgraded to available for the showdown.

This will be an exciting contest for Jamal Murray and the Nuggets. Denver earned the No. 2 seed of the Western Conference but have been challenged against Anthony Edwards and the Timberwolves. Murray and his teammates will want revenge after getting demolished in Game 6.

Murray has been excellent more often than not throughout the NBA Playoffs. However, it was a rough go for him in Game 6. So, hopefully he puts on a better performance to help the Nuggets clinch the series. In the last game, Murray finished with just 10 points, two rebounds and five assists. That's well below his season averages of 21.2 points, 4.1 rebounds and 6.5 assists per game.

The Nuggets star has played well throughout the postseason. However, he's taken a step back when compared to his regular season performance. So far in the playoffs, Murray is only averaging 19.3 points, 4.5 rebounds and 5.8 assists per game. If he plays in Game 7, Murray will want to improve upon his production. But his current calf strain could prevent him from doing so.

So, when it comes to the question of if Jamal Murray is playing tonight against the Timberwolves, the answer is YES.
