NFL free agency is in full swing as a flurry of moves have gone down around the league. The Cleveland Browns released wide receiver Jarvis Landry after pulling off a trade for Amari Cooper a few days prior.

The 29-year old receiver had up-and-down seasons with the Browns but is still a quality player. Landry is a great route runner, has good hands, and can make big plays for the offense. This makes him a great fit in numerous offenses, and multiple teams will likely be interested.

Last season, Landry played in 12 games and had 52 receptions for 570 yards and two touchdowns.

A new situation could be beneficial for him, as he is extremely talented and still in his prime. With that said, here are the two best landing spots for Jarvis Landry in 2022 NFL free agency after his release from the Browns.

Jarvis Landry 2022 NFL Free Agency Landing Spots

2. New England Patriots

The New England Patriots are among the teams interested in Jarvis Landry. New England made it to the playoffs behind the play of their defense and rookie quarterback Mac Jones. Jones had a solid rookie campaign despite not having an elite wide receiver.

He threw for 3,801 yards along with 22 touchdowns and 13 interceptions. Bringing in a talented receiver like Landry would help the offense reach the next level.

New England lost to the Buffalo Bills 47-17 in the Wild Card round, simply because they did not have the offensive firepower to keep up. The AFC is loaded with talented teams, and it is not guaranteed that the Patriots will make it to the playoffs next season. Improving the offense will be vital to their success.

Landry would bring a new element to their offense, next to receivers Jakobi Meyers, Nelson Agholor and Kendrick Bourne. Landry's playstyle complements them and could lead to a more explosive offense all around.

Head coach Bill Belichick is known for building elite defenses, but New England will need a great offense to make a deep playoff push.

1. Green Bay Packers

The Green Bay Packers would be an excellent fit for Jarvis Landry. He excels as a slot receiver and good run blocker, which would work well in head coach Matt LaFleur's scheme. Signing Landry would also give quarterback Aaron Rodgers a reliable second receiver behind Davante Adams.

Green Bay's offense struggled in the Divisional Round against the San Francisco 49ers, only putting up 10 points. With teams focusing on stopping Adams and the run game, Rodgers had difficulty finding open targets.

While special teams was the Achilles heel for the Packers, signing a great secondary receiver could help them get over the hump in the playoffs. Rodgers is still in the midst of his prime, as he is coming off his second-straight and fourth MVP award.

He threw for 4,115 yards, 37 touchdowns and only four interceptions last season. Green Bay's passing offense besides Adams was done by committee, which could be drastically improved with Landry.

It will come down to cap space, as the Packers are in a tough spot. However, if they can bring him in, he would be a big boost to make a deep postseason run.

Landry will likely get multiple offers from teams, but the Packers and the Patriots are his best options. Despite his struggles with the Browns last season, he can have a significant impact on a new team.
