After an exciting finish in Game 1 of the series between the Los Angeles Clippers and Utah Jazz, there's no knowing what will happen for the rest of this series. With Game 2 taking place tonight, you can definitely expect some major adjustments to be made by both teams. It's safe to say that there will definitely be a lot riding on this game.

While Kawhi Leonard, Paul George, and the Clippers are looking to bounce back big and steal game 2, Donovan Mitchell and the Jazz are hoping to hold home court and avoid a series tie going back to Los Angeles. With all this in mind, there's no doubt that tonight's game will be an all-out fight to the finish, so let's take a closer look at two bold predictions for tonight's game in Utah.

Clippers – Jazz Game 2:

DeMarcus Cousins Will Get More Playing Time

A recurring theme from Game 1 that became especially obvious in the second half was that they could not find an answer down low for Rudy Gobert. He was constantly out-rebounding Zubac, killing them in the pick-and-roll, and continually denied them of any opportunities in the paint. By having Ty Lue insert Cousins into the starting line up or by just increasing his playing time, this could give them an edge at the rim against the Jazz.

People have forgotten that pre-injury Boogie was arguably the best center in the NBA. Granted he may not be his old self, but he is still a versatile scoring threat and a reliable post presence that can provide them with great rim protection. With his strength and stellar footwork, Cousins could absolutely make things difficult for Gobert.

This could open up a plethora of scoring opportunities for the Clippers while he also locks down the paint for them on defense. It is a move that could really change the dynamic of their game plan and give them an edge in Game 2 versus the Jazz. With Ty Lue being the ultimate chess player, this would be a sound strategic move that could put L.A. right back in this series.

Donovan Mitchell, Joe Ingles, and Jordan Clarkson Will Split Time At Point Guard for the Jazz

Now that Mike Conley is set to miss another game due to a lingering hamstring injury, the Jazz will be shorthanded at point guard once again. However, this was the case for them last game and they still came out on top.

Plus. with the ball-handling and playmaking abilities of Mitchell, Ingles, and Clarkson, the Jazz will still have a great scoring and passing trio already in the line up tonight.

This will create killer ball movement and lights out shooting which will pick apart the Clippers' defense and develop into more mismatch scenarios for them similar to Game 1. A vast amount of the 3-pointers the Jazz knocked down last game were assisted by the 3-headed monster of Mitchell, Ingles, and Clarkson who also happen to be the biggest scoring threats on their roster. With this lethal trio of combo guards in the Jazz will definitely have something special in store for the Clippers in Game 2.
