It has been almost a decade of losing for the New York Jets. They entered the 2019 season with expectations that were a bit premature. They finished 7-9 and in typical Jets' fashion, has a lot of drama.

Head coach Adam Gase has officially taken over the title as worst coach in the NFL. It is unlikely that he will make it though the 2020 season if the Jets get off to a bad start. He was reportedly unhappy with the Le'Veon Bell signing prior to the season. Sam Darnold dealt with mono at the start of the season and their offensive line continued to underachieve.

It is safe to say that the Jets need some help, especially on the offensive side of the ball. They currently have the No. 11 pick in the 2020 NFL Draft. These are two strong options for the Jets that could improve their team significantly.

2. CeeDee Lamb, WR

Lamb is the top ranked wide receiver in a very deep class. At 6'2, Lamb would give the Jets an immediate play maker. This is something that they have not had since Brandon Marshall and Eric Decker in 2015.

Darnold needs some weapons. The Jets signed Jamison Crowder and he is a strong option in the flex. Robby Anderson is a deep ball threat who is a No. 2 at best. The Jets needs a true No. 1 receiver who is reliable and can handle the star power that comes with New York. That is Lamb. He averaged over 20 years per reception at Oklahoma in 2019.

There are some concerns regarding Lamb's speed. He is not a big time burner and did not see much press coverage in college. Outside of that, he is a huge prospect who catches anything thrown his way. This pick would take the Jets' offense up a notch immediately.

1. Mekhi Becton, OL

This is the Jets' biggest need. They believe that they have their franchise quarterback in Darnold and it is time to protect him.

Kelvin Beachum and Brandon Shell both have expiring contracts. That is great news for the Jets. It is time to move on from mediocre options and upgrade. Becton has emerged as one of the three top lineman in the draft class. Jedrick Wills Jr. has become the most coveted lineman while Andrew Thomas is still a top option.

Becton is an absolute boulder. He is 6'7, 369 pounds of pure strength and athleticism. He does not move like a man who weighs 369 pounds. He has incredible balance and footwork. This is what will make him a valuable left tackle in the NFL. The Jets are in desperate need of a player to protect Darnold's blindside and that is what Becton can do for years to come.
