The Milwaukee Bucks suffered a heartbreaking series loss to the Boston Celtics in seven games in the Eastern Conference Semifinals. The Bucks certainly missed the presence of star forward Khris Middleton, who didn't play at all in the series.

Giannis Antetokounmpo played exceptionally well throughout the series but didn't have enough help to overcome Boston. Antetokounmpo averaged 33.9 points, 14.7 rebounds, and 7.1 assists per game in the series.

However, the offense struggled with no reliable second option like Middleton available. Jrue Holiday works better as a third scoring option, and he struggled with efficiency as the second option. The Bucks also didn't have a shot creator off the bench, which contributed to poor offense when Antetokounmpo was off the floor.

Addressing this need would go a long way in helping get the Bucks back to championship contention. Milwaukee doesn't need much as long as the team is healthy, but there are some moves on the margins that would help.

With that said, here are two trades the Bucks must make to help Giannis Antetokounmpo after losing Game 7 against the Celtics.

Bucks Offseason Trades 2022

2. Bucks trade George Hill and a second-round pick to the Thunder for Mike Muscala

While adding another scorer is important, the Bucks may need to add a stretch big if Bobby Portis leaves. Veteran guard George Hill was inconsistent this season and could be utilized in a trade.

Mike Muscala is a solid stretch big, and the Thunder have a team option on him of $3.5 million for next season. Assuming OKC opts in, Muscala could become a trade candidate. Attaching a second-round pick in the trade plus Hill on a one-year deal would likely be enough to get the deal done, or perhaps the Thunder hold out for yet another first.

In 43 games this season, Muscala averaged 8.0 points and 3.0 rebounds. He shot 45.6 percent from the field and 42.9 percent from 3-point range. Muscala is one of the better shooters as a big in the NBA and would be a solid addition for Milwaukee.

While Muscala is not a great defender, he would be a good floor spacer off the bench. Antetokounmpo thrives with shooters around him as he draws attention from the defense.

If Milwaukee can't retain Portis, Muscala would be a suitable replacement.

1. Bucks trade 2028 first-round pick to the 76ers for Shake Milton

Getting a scoring punch off the bench would help the Bucks' offense improve, and getting a young guard would be even better. Shake Milton has a team option, which the Philadelphia 76ers will likely pick up, as it is a cheap contract. However, he could be moved to another team if they don't think they will be able to sign him to another deal.

The Bucks will have a few roster spots open in the offseason and could use a future draft pick to acquire Milton. Milton is a 25-year-old guard who has been a solid bench scorer for the 76ers. This season, Milton averaged 8.2 points per game while shooting 42.9 percent from the field and 32.3 percent from behind the arc.

While these numbers aren't great, his role was changed in the middle of the season after the James Harden trade. Last season, Milton scored 13.0 points per game while shooting a more efficient 45.0 percent from the field and 35.0 percent from downtown.

In a new role, Milton's game could be maximized, and he could thrive as a sixth-man type. He can create his own shot and score at all three levels, making him an ideal player for a bench scorer.

The Bucks have an important offseason ahead as they try to get back to the NBA Finals. The Eastern Conference is only getting better, so it will take some moves to get back.

These two trades would be a start to a solid offseason.
