It’s time to throw away all those copies of playoffs seeding scenarios. After 2,460 NBA regular season games and all the jostling and the jockeying of teams for the right to play beyond the regular season, the league has finally finalized the order and matchups in the first round of the 2018 NBA Playoffs.

In the Western Conference, the No. 1 Houston Rockets will face No. 8 Minnesota Timberwolves, who needed a win Wednesday against the Denver Nuggets to punch their tickets to the postseason. The No. 2 and defending NBA champions Golden State Warriors will go up against the No. 7 San Antonio Spurs. Damian Lillard and the No. 3 Portland Trail Blazers get a date in the first round with No. 6 New Orleans Pelicans. Lastly, the No. 4 Utah Jazz have a meeting with Russell Westbrook and the rest of the No. 5 Oklahoma City Thunder.

Over in the Eastern Conference, the top seed Toronto Raptors will duel with No. 8 Washington Wizards. The hobbling No. 2 Boston Celtics are going to lock horns with No. 7 Milwaukee Bucks. The Philadelphia 76ers and the Miami Heat will square off in a No. 3 vs. No. 6 matchup, while the No. 4 Cleveland Cavaliers get the No. 5 Indiana Pacers.

The 2018 NBA Playoffs will kick off this coming Saturday.
