Senior guard Cam Thomas has committed to coach Will Wade and LSU according to a tweet from ESPN's Paul Biancardi.

The 6-foot-3, 180-pound guard is ranked as the No. 24 overall player and No. 6 shooting guard according to the 247Sports Composite Rankings.

This commitment has given the Tigers their fourth five-star commit in the last three recruiting classes. They've become a quiet juggernaut on the recruiting trail and Cam Thomas's latest commitment only solidifies that. He had offers from Auburn, N.C. State, UCLA, Connecticut, Oregon and Penn State among others.

Thomas told 247Sports exactly why he chose LSU over so many other options. “I like how he tells me the truth and wants to help me accomplish my goals,” Thomas explained. “What stuck out is his consistency in contacting my mom and I on a regular basis.”

It looks like he will be in contact a lot more often as he'll be on campus next year playing for his new coach.
