For programs like the Xavier Musketeers, every little happening on the recruiting trail matters. The latest falls in that category. Trey Kaufman, a four-star prospect out of the 2021 college basketball recruiting class, took a pit stop with the school on Friday evening.

This visit, it is certainly worth noting, was unofficial in capacity. He was, however, in town for the program's version of midnight madness, neatly dubbed Musketeers Madness.

News of this visit was relayed to the human species by way of the mean streets of Twitter by Rivals and Stockrisers grassroots guru Jake Weingarten.

As for how reputable recruiting service outlets view Trey Kaufman, not only do all agree he’s a four-star caliber player, but most tend to agree he’s one of the 55 (or so) best players in the entire 2021 recruitment cycle.

Nevertheless, only time will tell if the Xavier Musketeers can do enough to secure a commitment from the young man.
