Establish the Pass Podcast Episode 172 – Blake Lovell and Dillon Reagan start the podcast's fantasy football preview series by discussing their five Tier 1 players at quarterback, running back, wide receiver, and tight end. Then, they reveal the most intriguing fantasy football breakout candidates they expect to outperform their current ADPs in the 2021 NFL season.
While the quarterback position has an easy top two in Patrick Mahomes and Josh Allen, the rest of the top-five is up for grabs. At running back, it's tough to leave out Nick Chubb, Ezekiel Elliott, or Alvin Kamara after the top-three of Christian McCaffrey, Dalvin Cook, and Derrick Henry. The wide receiver position has a consensus top three but the final two spots were heavily debated.
A pair of second-year running backs lead off the fantasy football breakouts discussion, followed by a couple rookie pass-catchers, receivers with new quarterbacks, and one young signal-caller with an opportunity to become a top-10 fantasy QB in 2021.
