We are at the point in the NFL season where fantasy football teams are scrambling to try and make the playoffs. The waiver wire is crucial at this stage of the year because many starters are injured or in a bye week. Every win matters as usually only four teams make the playoffs in most standard leagues. With that being said, here is your Week 10 fantasy football drop list.

There are some players that should be dropped in your leagues, as they are not putting up the production we thought they would. Let's take a look at the names that should no longer be on your roster as you prepare for a playoff run.

2021 Fantasy Football Week 10 Drop List

Fantasy Football Drop List: TOUGH Choices

Mike Davis – Atlanta Falcons

Davis is one of the more disappointing running backs this season. Athlete and multi-positional star Cordarrelle Patterson quickly established himself this season and took over as the lead back. He is taking a majority of the reps and that leaves Davis patiently waiting. The reps Davis does get he doesn't make the most of them. Davis finished with just 13 yards rushing in the win over the Saints on Sunday. Davis hasn't proved he is worth keeping on your fantasy football rosters. He should be dropped for someone who can better contribute.

Sam Darnold – Carolina Panthers

Darnold started the season hot with the Panthers. But since their 3-0 start, Darnold is playing like one of the worst fantasy football quarterbacks. He finished the game against the New England Patriots with just 0.78 fantasy points according to the Sleeper app. Darnold will now undergo an MRI on his shoulder and he could miss some time. Darnold is not worth keeping on your roster because of his poor play and should be dropped for a different quarterback or roster filler.

D'ernest Johnson – Cleveland Browns

Johnson's highlight of the season came in Week 7 when the Browns beat the Denver Broncos on Thursday night. He led the team in carries and scored a touchdown that propelled a great fantasy football performance. Since the return on Nick Chubb, however, Johnson hasn't seen the field much. He finished with just 16 rush yards in the win over the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday. Kareem Hunt should return from injury soon and when he does, Johnson's reps will stop. It's a smart idea to go ahead and drop him now so that you can quickly find a replacement for Week 10.

Fantasy Football Drop List: Easier decisions

Bryan Edwards – Las Vegas Raiders

Edwards finished Sunday's game with zero receptions off four targets. Derek Carr is playing well this season but he isn't finding Edwards much on the year. Carr clearly loves Hunter Renfrow the best and targets him all game long. The Raiders also recently signed receiver Desean Jackson who should come in and make a difference. He will likely take away targets from Edwards and that should be enough to drop Edwards. With Darren Waller clearly being the main target, that puts Edwards behind him, Renfrow, Jackson, and Zay Jones.

Boston Scott – Philadelphia Eagles

RECOMMENDED (Article Continues Below)

Scott was a potential breakout candidate in Week 9 against the LA Chargers. That did not happen as the Eagles continue to hate on fantasy football. We have no clue who will be in the game at the running back position for the Eagles. They constantly switch things up and are subbing in backs every play. It's very tough to determine who will get the most reps because it changes every game. With all that being said, go ahead and drop Scott from your team. Starter Miles Sanders is on the IR but should return soon. When he comes back that gives the Eagles four possible backs to work with. That should be enough information to assume Scott won't produce much fantasy football numbers unless players in front of him get injured.

Derrick Gore – Kansas City Chiefs

Gore showed up last Monday night in the win over the New York Giants. He finished with 48 rushing yards and scored his first career touchdown. He was added to a good amount of rosters for Week 9 but didn't show up. The Chiefs are clearly a pass-first team because of Patrick Mahomes and didn't give Gore the ball much in the win over the Aaron Rodgersless Green Bay Packers. Darrel Williams is the starter with Clyde Edwards-Helaire on the IR. We probably won't see another breakout game for Gore this season.

Michael Thomas – New Orleans Saints (honorable mention)

Thomas will miss the entire season as he continues to recover from an ankle injury. The Saints announced he could require another procedure and will not play this season. For those that kept him on the IR all year can go ahead and drop him.
