The Memphis Grizzlies have cashed in on the NBA draft pick they just acquired from the New Orleans Pelicans, taking Ziaire Williams with the 10th overall selection.

The Stanford cardinal is a tantalizing prospect for the Grizzlies to plug in alongside Ja Morant. Standing at 6-foot-9 and at just 19-years-old, his ceiling is immense and could turn into a big wing menace in Memphis.

However, as it stands Williams' potential outweighs his production right now. He averaged just 10.7 points and 4.6 rebounds while shooting a brutal 37.4% from the field. His outside shot definitely needs work, given that he was a sub-.300 shooter from deep on four attempts per game.

While the Grizzlies may have an NBA draft project on their hands, he's shown some flashes of being a big wing ball-handler and versatile defender for the new era of Grit & Grind.
