The Golden State Warriors take Arkansas Razorbacks guard Moses Moody with the No. 14 overall pick in the first round of the 2021 NBA Draft.

After spending just one season at Arkansas, who experienced a tremendous 2020-21 campaign, the 19-year-old Moody elected to enter the 2021 NBA Draft pool en route to shooting up in the draft boards of many of the league's front offices.

While Arkansas is not typically known for producing the talent that is being selected this high in the NBA Draft, Moody's presence on one of the best team's in the country this past season certainly helped get his name out there for the national audience.

Standing at 6'6″ while weighing just over 200 pounds, Moody is a native of Little Rock, AR and will now be heading to Golden State to begin his NBA playing career. Over the course of 32 collegiate appearances as a freshman, the former Razorbacks standout averaged 16.8 points on 33.8 minutes per outing. Moody also averaged 5.8 rebounds and 1.6 assists.

Possessing the ability to score, rebound and play defense from either guard position, the up-and-comer shot just under 43 percent from the field and just under 36 percent from behind the arc in what would become his long go-round at the collegiate level.

Although Moody will still have some developing to do upon reaching the NBA threshold, there is little doubt that the rookie guard will make an immediate impact as a member of the Warriors in 2021-22.
