Following the announcement that NBA 2K18 will be released on September 15th, some player screens and ratings have already been revealed. 2K Sports gave fans the first look of Dwight Howard wearing a Charlotte Hornets uniform recently, as well as Nick Young sporting the Golden State Warriors jersey. Paul George, Damian Lillard, Isaiah Thomas, DeMar DeRozan, and Victor Oladipo have all been given their ratings as well.

On Monday, the video game developers took to their Twitter account where they shared the renders and ratings for the dynamic duo of Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant. As expected, they were both in the 90s, with the former back-to-back MVP rated 94, while this year’s Finals MVP received a 96.

The two have the highest ratings released so far, but that may change once the other superstars of the league, such as LeBron James, Kawhi Leonard, James Harden, and Russell Westbrook, will be given theirs. As early as now, many fans of the game have already given 2K Sports a lot of credit for improving the looks of the players, and are anticipating it to be the best so far.

As the release date nears, more and more players are receiving their new ratings and have been finding out about it the same time as the fans. It will be very interesting to know what their reactions will be and who will be the highest rated player in this year’s edition.
