Justin Houston ended the season with 34 total tackles and 4.5 sacks. Not the most impressive stat-line but it's respectable. Although he is 33-years old, many teams across the league should have Houston on their target lists. He's a solid pass rusher who brings veteran leadership to the table as well.

It'll be interesting to see which teams attempt to sign the 11-year veteran. He could join a young roster to help coach the prospects, or Justin Houston could sign with a potential playoff contender and chase a ring. Either way, we should see Houston's name mentioned frequently until he officially signs a deal in the 2022 NFL free agency.

With that said, here are three Justin Houston landing spots as he enters free agency.

Justin Houston Free Agency Landing Spots

3. Philadelphia Eagles

The Philadelphia Eagles are a few key pieces away from taking over the NFC East. Signing Justin Houston could prove to be a huge move for this franchise as they aim to make another playoff appearance. The secondary played well with Darius Slayton leading the way, but Philadelphia needs to improve their pass-rushing to make a serious jump in defensive production.

Not only can Justin Houston help the Eagles improve the pass rush, but he'd be a nice veteran leader for this young roster. A smart move for this franchise would be to select an exciting pass-rushing rookie after signing Houston. That'd give Philadelphia the immediate production they need to improve while coaching a prospect to eventually take over the starting job.

2. Denver Broncos

After trading Von Miller away to the Los Angeles Rams, the Denver Broncos suddenly have a hole within the defensive line. Signing Justin Houston makes sense, as he can provide some consistency while not breaking the bank either. Houston would be an ideal addition for this team, as the front office continues to figure out how to construct the roster.

The league consensus is that the Broncos are a quarterback away from becoming a legitimate contender. Even so, the front office can't ignore the rest of the roster. Look for this franchise to possibly target Justin Houston, as he'd put a band-aid over a team need for at least one year.

1. Minnesota Vikings

It was a frustrating season for the Minnesota Vikings but the fanbase should feel optimistic about the future. The offense and defense are a few pieces away from becoming a competitive franchise. For that reason, Justin Houston makes perfect sense for this defense. He'd improve the pass rush, which was a noticeable problem last season.

Similar to the Eagles and Broncos, Justin Houston would provide consistency within the defensive line. It would allow the Vikings to focus on bigger areas of need through the draft to stack the roster. Look for Minnesota to get aggressive in the 2022 NFL free agency with Houston as a potential target.
