It's no secret the Jets need help on the offensive line. Zach Wilson was running for his life throughout most of his rookie year, so New York should prioritize the trenches throughout the draft. With the 10th overall selection, we could see the front office take a legitimate prospect to beef up the pass protection.

The more exciting decision for the Jets is to draft a wide receiver in the first round. They're likely to take one of the top prospects available in that position, which is exactly what New York needs to improve the offense. If the front office can acquire a big-bodied target, then the offense should show improvement next season.

With that said, here are the three best fits for the Jets' 10th overall selection in the 2022 NFL Draft.

Jets 2022 NFL Draft

3. Ikem Ekwonu

The Jets need help on the offensive line and they need it badly. Depending on how the first nine selections go, Ikem Ekwonu could be a fantastic selection for this team at 10 overall. He's a great athlete capable of defending all types of pass rushers. Additionally, Ekwonu gives the boost in pass protection Zach Wilson needs to develop.

Although offensive linemen aren't the most exciting draft picks for fans, Ikem Ekwonu has the potential to be a consistent starter for years. Having that type of play in the trenches is important for any franchise. For that reason, the Jets should highly consider Ekwonu with their first pick of the NFL Draft.

2. Tyler Linderbaum

Another top-level prospect on the offensive line is Tyler Linderbaum. He's been a great player throughout his collegiate career and should be able to make an immediate impact in the NFL. He brings everything Ekwonu brings to the table and more, as Linderbaum is very athletic for his size.

Linderbaum has the potential to be an elite guard in the league. Considering the Jets already have prospect tackles on both sides of the offensive line, they could bring in Tyler Linderbaum to improve the trenches within the interior. Not only can he help with pass protection, but the former Iowa Hawkeye is great in run blocking as well.

1. Drake London

Elijah Moore is shaping up to be a star receiver in the league. Even so, the Jets are missing a legitimate deep threat. In comes Drake London, who has a similar playing style as Mike Evans. He's tall, athletic, and aggressive when being contested, making him a smart choice for New York in the 2022 NFL Draft.

London would be a great compliment to Elijah Moore's playing style. Not to mention, the Jets also still have Corey Davis and Braxton Berrios who bring unique talents to the table as well. Drafting Drake London 1oth overall gives New York a plethora of weapons in the passing game, which is only good news for Zach Wilson and the offense.
