After miraculously making the playoffs, the Las Vegas Raiders found themselves as an early exit after losing to the Cincinnati Bengals. Now, the franchise looks ahead to the offseason as they prepare to restructure the roster and possibly the coaching staff. We take a look at the Raiders 2022 NFL free agency and who they should re-sign to the team.

The Raiders were a pleasant surprise as they've dealt with multiple issues off the field that would send any franchise into a frenzy. Las Vegas has a solid roster and a successful offseason will do wonders for this organization. For this team to continue having success, the front office must re-sign the right players to the roster.

There is a handful of guys the Raiders should re-sign, however, three stand out amongst the rest. Las Vegas should highly consider maintaining some of the players they have on the defensive line. Additionally, the wide receiver room is a bit empty, but don't be surprised if the front office brings back one key receiver in the offseason.

With that said, here are three players who should be re-signed before the Raiders 2022 NFL free agency.

Raiders Free Agency Re-Sign Targets

3. Solomon Thomas

Solomon Thomas didn't quite live up to expectations but he still has great potential to be a solid contributor to the Raiders defense. Bringing him back gives Las Vegas depth in the defensive line, which will go a long way in structuring the roster.

He was a beast during his time with the San Francisco 49ers. The Raiders would be smart to re-sign Thomas, as he's still young and has much to prove. Look for Vegas to bring him back, as they'll hope he can provide consistency in the trenches next year.

2. Zay Jones

The Raiders organization has been buzzing about Zay Jones throughout the year. Although he didn't make much of an impact production-wise, the team loves what he does on and off the field. Derek Carr and the coaching staff claim that Jones is the hardest working person on the roster. If that's true, the front office should bring him back in free agency.

Considering the Raiders need to make improvements to the wide receiver room, Zay Jones could be in line for an expanded role next year. He had to step up after Henry Ruggs' incident and Bryan Edwards hasn't quite lived up to expectations. If he is re-signed, we could see Jones make some serious noise for Vegas.

1. Johnathan Hankins

Johnathan Hankins was an underrated player in the NFL this year. He's been solid for the Raiders and more than deserves to come back to the team. Hankins isn't the most popular name, but he's been one of the more consistent options on the Raiders defense.

Hankins helps more with rush defense, as he's been a solid run-stopper for this franchise. Maxx Crosby and Yannick Ngakoue dominated the pass rush, which gave the Raiders one of the more competitive front sevens in the league. This is an area of strength for Las Vegas and the front office should do everything possible to keep the defensive line intact. For that reason, look for Hankins to re-sign with Vegas.
