The Tennessee Titans are preparing for what should be an interesting season. Many believe the team has taken a step back after trading AJ Brown to the Philadelphia Eagles. Even so, there is a legitimate chance this franchise remains a playoff contender. That's especially true if the front office can make one or two notable moves this summer. Having said that, we look at three trade targets the Titans must consider to round out the 2022 roster.

Realistically, Tennessee isn't likely to make a big trade anytime soon. If anything, the front office is potentially looking to sign another free agent or two. However, it's not impossible for the Titans to make a deal come to fruition to improve the roster. With the offensive line being a concern entering training camp, we could see this franchise pull the trigger to acquire a talented left guard.

Another position the Titans could trade for is wide receiver. Even though the coaching staff likes the current room, Tennessee could use another pass-catcher to put the offensive attack over the top. If the front office finds a way to make a splash trade in the summer, this team could be back on top of the league once again.

With that said, here are three trade targets the Titans must consider to complete the 2022 roster.

Titans Trade Targets To Complete 2022 Roster

3. A veteran interior offensive lineman

It's no secret the Titans have a weakness in the interior offensive line. After letting Rodger Saffold go in free agency the front office didn't do much to replace him. Right now, Dillon Radunz, Aaron Brewer, and Jamarco Jones are likely competing for the starting spot. However, Radunz is also taking snaps at right tackle and Tennessee could use some veteran presence at the guard position.

Trading for a starting-caliber offensive lineman will be difficult to achieve. At this point in the offseason, most teams are going to be utilizing their current offensive line. Even so, the Titans should highly consider shopping around and finding a guard to improve the trenches. If they can do that, then Tennessee will be in a much better spot for the upcoming season.

2. Robby Anderson

Considering the Titans have multiple receivers who have experience playing the slot, the franchise should look to add a pass option that predominately lines up outside. Robby Anderson is a true speed threat who can help the offense spread the field a bit. Although he plays a vital role for the Carolina Panthers, Tennessee should reach out and inquire about Anderson.

Tennessee's passing game would be tough to defend with Robby Anderson on the roster. He'd be an outside deep threat for Ryan Tannehill while Robert Woods and Treylon Burks can run the underneath routes. Additionally, prospects Nick Westbrook-Ikhine and Kyle Philips would periodically sub into the slot position. Anderson would be an underrated acquisition for the Titans who could yield massive results on this roster.

1. Deebo Samuel

Okay, this might be a pipe dream at this point but hear me out. Trade rumors regarding Deebo Samuel are still rolling around the league, as the star receiver doesn't seem content playing with the San Francisco 49ers. It's a long shot he ends up being traded though, as San Francisco is doing everything in their power to keep him on their roster. Regardless, if he's available the Titans should come calling.

It's unclear how much Tennessee would have to give up to acquire the superstar receiver. However, his presence on the field would be massive. The Titans would have a versatile weapon capable of taking it to the house on any given play. Samuel would also be the ultimate AJ Brown replacement as well. Having Deebo Samuel and Treylon Burks on the field together would be insane for this franchise.
