There were some clear winners and losers in the second and third rounds of the NFL Draft. Of course, these rookies must play and we won't know who truly won this draft for a few years. However, we can evaluate the talent brought in, as some teams gained solid assets on Day 2. With that said, here are our biggest winners and losers of the second and third rounds of the 2022 NFL Draft.

3 Biggest Winners From 2022 NFL Draft

3. Kansas City Chiefs

The second and third rounds were huge for the Kansas City Chiefs. They reeled in three solid prospects in Skyy Moore, Bryan Cook, and Leo Chenal. Each player fills a need for this team. Moore was a stud in college and should do well in Andy Reid's offense. Meanwhile, Cook and Chenal fill a hole on Kansas City's defense. Each of these players should be major contributors in their rookie campaign, making Kansas city a true winner of the NFL Draft.

2. Zach Wilson

After making a splash in the first round of the NFL Draft, the New York Jets did Zach Wilson a solid by selecting two spectacular prospects for the offense. Breece Hall is in line to become the new starting running back for New York, while Jeremy Ruckert has the potential of being the starting tight end out of training camp. Wilson has a ton of talent around him, which bodes well for his future success in the league.

1. Baltimore Ravens

Have the Baltimore Ravens ever been a loser in the NFL Draft? This franchise has been consistently great at selecting prospects and developing them into legitimate starters. The front office beefed up the defensive line in rounds two and three by taking David Ojabo and Travis Jones. Ojabo would have been a first-round pick if it wasn't for the injury while many view Jones as the steal of the draft.

3 Biggest Losers From 2022 NFL Draft

3. Ryan Tannehill

Every move the Tennessee Titans made was not in favor of Ryan Tannehill. First, they traded AJ Brown away, which isn't ideal. Additionally, most of the rookies selected are prospects who need time developing, which means they won't make an impact in 2022. Lastly, Tennessee acquired Malik Willis to potentially take over as starting quarterback in a year or two. Although this franchise did well in the NFL Draft, Tannehill's situation did not improve.

2. Justin Fields

The Chicago Bears focused more on the defensive side of the ball throughout the NFL Draft. This team is lacking in pass catchers and the offensive line isn't where it needs to be yet. Justin Fields might have a tough sophomore campaign in 2022, as the front office hasn't done much to build around him yet. We should see this team be aggressive in the 2023 offseason, but Fields didn't gain much improvement for year two of his career.

1. New England Patriots

Is Bill Belichick asleep at the wheel or is his dog actually making the picks? The New England Patriots left fans scratching their heads more often than not, as the front office made questionable selections throughout the NFL Draft. New England selected Tyquan Thornton in round two, who is a speedster. However, there were a few other receivers who are deemed better prospects on the board ath the time Thornton was picked. Additionally, Marcus Jones was another questionable draft selection for this team. This team left the weekend with arguably the worst draft class of any franchise.
