The Denver Broncos made a splash hire at head coach. They were the first team to land a new coach and they're now focusing on the offseason. This franchise has officially entered a new era, as Nathaniel Hackett is the first offensive-minded coach to lead the way in quite some time. We take a look at this hiring with some of our Broncos predictions in mind.

Nearly everyone is on board with the idea that the Broncos are a quarterback away from being a legitimate contender. The play calling under Vic Fangio's command wasn't great. Now with Nathaniel Hackett in charge, Denver is shaping up to have a dangerous offense to match their stifling defense.

It'll be interesting to see how Hackett's tenure with the Broncos goes down. He has a ton of talent at his disposal and they should excel in the new offensive scheme. We should see Javonte Williams make massive improvements, while Courtland Sutton and Noah Fant take over in the passing game. Additionally, Nathaniel Hacket being in Denver has increased the odds of Aaron Rodgers playing quarterback for this team. If everything works out, this should be a consistent playoff contender for years to come.

With that said, here are four bold Broncos predictions for Nathaniel Hackett as the head coach.

Broncos Predictions for Nathaniel Hackett

4. Javonte Williams is given an expanded role in the new offense

This might already be in place, as Javonte Williams showed flashes of greatness throughout his rookie year. However, there's a chance the Broncos bring back Melvin Gordon, or some other veteran to share the workload. Either way, Williams is bound for a big role.

Nathaniel Hackett had the pleasure of working with Aaron Jones, who typically sees the field more often than any other running back for the Green Bay Packers. Don't be shocked if Javonte Williams is treated similarly to Jones in the Broncos offensive scheme.

3. Courtland Sutton and Noah Fant become legitimate pass options

Denver has a plethora of weapons on the roster and a competent quarterback will excel on this team. Courtland Sutton and Noah Fant had down years this season, as the Broncos were inconsistent in the quarterback position. Regardless of who is under center next year, this offense should be much more fluid going forward.

2. Aaron Rodgers plays for the Broncos for at least two years

It'll be interesting to see what happens in Green Bay, but there is a strong chance Aaron Rodgers leaves his current team in the offseason. It'll take a bit to acquire the superstar quarterback, but the Broncos should pull the trigger. If they can, Rodgers is bound to give at least two years of solid play for Denver.

1. Nathaniel Hackett makes Denver a playoff contender for years

Nathaniel Hackett has all of the potential in the world to be a phenomenal head coach. He's in a great situation, as the Broncos roster is nearly ready to be a playoff contender. If Denver can acquire a legitimate quarterback, the sky is the limit for this franchise.

We'll see how it plays out, but many are speculating that Aaron Rodgers will play for the Broncos next year. Nothing can come to fruition until the trade deadline re-opens and that's if Rodgers decides he wants to leave. Either way, Hackett has the talent to lead Denver to the playoffs on a consistent basis. This fan base should be excited about the future.
