The NFL rumor mill has been firing on all cylinders over the past couple of days following Odell Beckham Jr.'s release from the Cleveland Browns. As fans waited for him to make a decision on where to sign, plenty of teams were reportedly interested in signing him. Among those teams mentioned throughout the process were the Green Bay Packers, New Orleans Saints, New England Patriots, Kansas City Chiefs, and Seattle Seahawks. However, there was one team that nobody was talking about: the Los Angeles Rams.

Los Angeles swooped in on Thursday and was able to sign Beckham to a one-year contract. It was reported that his final decision came down to being between the Rams and Packers. Choosing the Rams gives him the opportunity to play in a big city and also be a potentially integral part of a high-powered offense.

Beckham is coming off of a rough six-game stint with the Browns prior to his release. He caught 17 passes for 232 yards, but has yet to catch a touchdown this year. With the Rams, he will look to turn his brutal start to the season around.

With the decision being made and Odell Beckham Jr. heading to the Rams, let's take a look at three bold predictions for him with his new team.

Odell Beckham Jr. Predictions with Rams

3. He Ends Up Being The WR3 In Los Angeles

Quite simply, the decision to sign with the Rams is a confusing one over the Packers. Green Bay would have immediately plugged Beckham in as their No. 2 wideout alongside Davante Adams. In Los Angeles, Beckham will have a hard time passing up Cooper Kupp or Robert Woods for a top two spot in the wide receiver rotation.

Both Kupp and Woods are high quality starters for the Rams. That simply is not going to change moving forward.

While he is joining a Super Bowl contender and a good quarterback in Matthew Stafford, his role is not going to be massive. Los Angeles has to be pumped to add another playmaker to their offense, but how much he is utilized will be interesting to see.

2. Odell Beckham Jr. Ends Up Putting Up Slightly Better Numbers Than He Did With The Browns

Anyone that is expecting Beckham to come in and put up superstar caliber numbers will be massively disappointed. This is not a move that will place Beckham in a position to record those kind of numbers. Instead, fans should be expecting an increase over the production that he put up with the Browns.

We're predicting that he ends up catching 40 passes for 385 yards and four touchdowns the rest of the season. Those numbers should help him improve his value some ahead of free agency in the offseason.

Granted, if the Rams utilize him more and take away usage and targets some from both Kupp and Woods, his numbers might be much bigger. But, if they simply plug him in as their No. 3 wide receiver, which seems likely, those are numbers that would make sense for Beckham.

1. It Will Be A Half-Season Run With The Rams

Finally, there will be many wondering whether or not Odell Beckham Jr. will stick around with the Rams following this season. His deal with Los Angeles is for little money for the remainder of the 2021 season. Don't get your hopes up that Beckham will remain with the franchise following this season.

Beckham is looking to improve his value as much as possible before free agency. With two other talented wide receivers ahead of him or equal to him on the depth chart and a talented young wideout in Van Jefferson behind him, Beckham may not end up loving his situation with the Rams. If that ends up being the case, leaving for either better money or a better situation is the most likely route for Beckham to go after this year.

While fans will enjoy seeing Beckham for the rest of this season, it's likely this deal is only a half of a season run. What you see this season could very well be all you see of him in Los Angeles.
