When the Carolina Panthers signed veteran quarterback Cam Newton and brought him home, the expectation was that he would end up being the starting quarterback in the near future. While he didn't start last week against the Arizona Cardinals, Newton made a major impact on the game. In his first game back with the Panthers, he ran and threw for a touchdown in a very limited role.
