The Phoenix Suns currently hold a 2-0 series lead over the Denver Nuggets. Phoenix has been running away with this matchup so far, and Denver needs to make some serious adjustments if they hope to keep their postseason hopes alive. Game 3 is vital, as it has everything on the line for both organizations.

The Suns' backcourt has been a problem for the Nuggets. Don't expect any changes in Friday night's game. For Denver to get back in this series, they'll need to focus on their strengths and run the ball through Nikola Jokic. Although he can't do it all by himself, he gives Denver their best chances of winning.

We should see a do-or-die version of the Nuggets on Friday night. Nikola Jokic will do everything and more to try and bring the series to 2-1. That will be a difficult task though, as Phoenix has been shooting lights out so far. The suns are coached well and have solid depth to match up against anyone. With that said, here are three bold predictions for the Suns-Nuggets Friday night game.

Jokic ignites for 40+ points

Nikola Jokic has been leading his team in points, but we haven't seen him go ballistic as he did against the Portland Trail Blazers. Phoenix has done a great job of bottling him up enough to take advantage of the Nuggets. Now that Jokic and the Nuggets will be playing in Denver, things might change for the better.

Deandre Ayton's defense has shown out in this series. He's not fully containing the 2021 MVP winner, but he's doing enough to get the job done. Even so, you can only prevent Jokic from going off for so long. Look for Jokic to ignite for 40+ points in Game 3, as he'll be doing everything to keep his team in the contest.

The Suns continue to light up the field

In the last game, the Suns shot over 47% from the field and looked unstoppable. Phoenix should be able to continue their hot streak and light it up in Game 3. Chris Paul is playing at a high level, which has given the Suns a huge boost. He's finding the open man often, dribbling past defenders, and scoring at will.

On top of that, Devin Booker is playing like a man possessed. Not only is he the Suns' leading scorer, but he's also efficient. His confidence oozes to the rest of his teammates, which has helped them sink their shots as well. Look for the Suns to shoot over 50% from the field on Friday night.

Phoenix takes a commanding 3-0 lead

Hopefully, this game is closer than the first two, but the Phoenix Suns should still come out with a win. A 3-0 lead basically puts the nail in the coffin, as a team has never come back from that deficit in a series in NBA history. Jokic has the chance to prevent that though, as he's the Nuggets heart and soul. If he has an outstanding game, the Nuggets could receive a home win. However, based on the performances of Game 1 and 2, it's looking like the Suns are bound to run away with this one.
