The Baltimore Ravens made it back into the playoffs this last season before being bounced by the Los Angeles Chargers. The feeling is that the Ravens should be a playoff team next season, but for that to happen they need to answer a few key questions this offseason.

How will Lamar Jackson improve?

The biggest question for the Ravens this offseason involves someone already on the team, Lamar Jackson. Everyone knows what Jackson can do with his legs, and it showed time and time again this past season, but there are still some questions about what he can do with his arm.

He threw for only 1,201 yards six touchdowns, and three interceptions. The Chargers in the playoffs basically made him throw the ball and he struggled, which led to the Ravens defeat.

For the Ravens to take the next step forward next season Jackson really needs to improve his passing. There seems to be a gameplan in place now to slow him down so if Jackson wants to take the next step forward, the passing game needs to improve.

Will the Ravens keep C.J. Mosley?

The Ravens have said a key this offseason was keeping C.J. Mosley but there are still some questions about what they will do with him. How much is the team willing to pay him and if they can't come to an agreement? Will the team put a franchise tag on him?

Mosely has earned a Pro Bowl invite in four of his first five seasons and has made a name as one of the best linebackers in the league.

It's going to take a big payday to keep him in Baltimore but I think if they let him walk, it's going to be something the team really regrets going forward.

What type of offensive talent will the team land?

I think one of the most interesting storylines going into this offseason for the Ravens is watching what type of players want to play in Baltimore.

Jackson isn't a great throwing quarterback so it will be interesting to see if that makes some wide receivers stay away in free agency.
