The New England Patriots are once again Super Bowl champions. While all is well in Foxborough for now, they still have several pressing issues they need to address in 2019. Here are the three most burning questions for the team as they head into the offseason:

3. How will they deal with the loss of so many assistant coaches?

The Patriots' coaching staff often gets poached, but not like it has the past couple of seasons. Last year they lost defensive coordinator Matt Patricia to the Detroit Lions, and this year they lost the man they chose to replace him.

Brian Flores left to be the head coach of the Miami Dolphins, and took several New England assistants with him. Bill Belichick's staff will look a lot different next season, and it's fair to wonder if there will be an adjustment period.

2. Will they draft a quarterback?

Tom Brady hasn't shown many signs of falling off and has said he wants to play for at least several more years. But, Belichick must eventually begin looking for a replacement, and they have no viable options currently on the roster.

The Patriots will likely draft a quarterback high at some point, the only question is when. Several years ago they took Jimmy Garoppolo in the second round, so we know Belichick won't hesitate to use an early pick if there's someone he likes.

The Patriots' draft will be one of the most interesting to watch this April.

1. Will the Patriots make any big trades?

Bill Belichick

The Patriots have been possibly the most trade-happy team in recent years, and they could make another big splash this offseason. Around this time in 2018, they traded Brandin Cooks to the Rams for a first-round pick. In the middle of last season, they traded for Josh Gordon.

This past week, it was reported that they made a strong run at Odell Beckham Jr. when he was available last year. Now that Beckham is rumored to be on the trading block again, the Patriots could make another offer for them. Given their recent track record, it would be somewhat surprising if they don't make at least one deal between now and the draft.
