The Arizona Cardinals were able to come away with an impressive win over the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday night. They won the contest 23-13 and improved to 9-2 on the season.

The Seahawks were without arguably their three best players. They were missing Kyler Murray, DeAndre Hopkins, and J.J. Watt who is unfortunately out for the rest of the season. This was a must-win game for the Cardinals and they stepped up while they were short-handed. Let's take a look at three key takeaways from their Week 11 win.

Cardinals Week 11 Takeaways

3. Colt McCoy looked like he did in 2011

Who would have thought that in 2021 Colt McCoy would go into Seattle and take down the Seahawks? Not only did he do this, but he did it in impressive fashion. He went 35-44 throwing for 328 yards and two touchdowns. Nobody in the world expected Colt McCoy to go out there and beat this Seattle team, but with the help of his teammates, he was able to secure the victory for the Cardinals.

After Kyler Murray was a game-time decision, Colt McCoy got the nod and stepped up in the biggest way possible. Every game that Arizona plays is still must win even at 9-2. The Los Angeles Rams are right behind them at 7-3 so getting this win last night was huge. This was a lot to ask of for Colt McCoy, but he stepped up and proved he still has a little bit left in his tank, It looked like Prime Colt McCoy out there. What he was able to do was nothing short of impressive.

2. The defense responded after the Carolina Panthers loss

There were some questions about the Cardinals' defense after J.J. Watt went down with a season-ending injury. They gave up 34 points to an average Carolina Panthers team and that was something that nobody expected. Throughout the week the Cardinals' defense heard the disrespect that some people around the league were giving them and showed up in a big way.

They were able to hold Russell Wilson to only 207 yards and no touchdowns. When Kyler Murray comes back and if this Arizona team can get stops against above-average offenses, the Arizona Cardinals are going to win the Superbowl with ease.

1. Picked up another game against LA

This is exactly what the Cardinals needed after the Los Angeles Rams lost to the San Francisco 49ers last Monday night. Arizona had to be stressing without Kyler Murray there and worried that they weren't going to be able to pick up a game in the NFC West. They did exactly what they needed to do and now they're up a game-and-a-half over the Los Angeles Rams.

They were able to put up 23 points last night without arguably the leading MVP candidate. They also did it without arguably the best wide receiver in the NFL in DeAndre Hopkins. When Kyler Murray and DeAndre Hopkins come back, the league better watch out. We saw what they could do at the beginning of the season and it's scary.

This Arizona Cardinals team has a very bright future and they definitely look like one of the Super Bowl favorites.
