Could it be that the New York Giants are ready to move on from wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr? Maybe, maybe not. But just in case GM Dave Gettlemen decides to change his mind, there are potential suitors the team can call about to make a blockbuster deal.

What has fans confused about such a rumor is that the Giants just handed Beckham Jr. a new deal last offseason. While the deal was expected, there are those who still felt that it was in the Giants' best interest to trade him before a new deal was struck.

It's no secret that Beckham is a star in this league. In his five years in the NFL (all for the Giants), Beckham has caught 390 passes for 5476 yards and 44 touchdowns. However, the Giants must begin to think of the intangibles that has hindered Odell. For starters, he's missed the equivalent of a full season over the last two years. Then it's the sideline and off-the-filed antics and the fact that the Giants have not been consistent with winning since he's been in uniform.

Despite his injury concerns, the Giants may be wise to hold off on any deals due to what the future may hold with he and Saquon Barkley leading the offensive charge. What the Giants are missing is a QB of the future, but the pieces are in place for the offense to be one of the league's best if they can all get on the same page. However, just in case Gettleman is fed up, here are three ideal destinations for the Giants to trade Odell Beckham Jr. to this offseason.

3. Pittsburgh Steelers

If the Steelers are serious about moving Antonio Brown, then why not swap Brown and Beckham? While Brown is viewed as a more complete receiver, the Giants may be the only team with a receiver near Brown's skills to slide in where there will be not a significant drop in production.

As great as Brown has been over his career, he's also getting up there in age. While this may be his prime years, the Steelers must factor in his mental state after what transpired through the 2018 season. Adding Beckham to the a core that feature JuJu Smith-Schuster will give the Steelers possibly the best young tandem in the NFL.

For the Giants, this will provide them with a sense of stability at a position they surely need it. With Barkley able to carry the load on his end, the Giants need a receiver they can count on to help shoulder the load. Beckham can be that guy, but does he want to be? Brown has played through injuries and can help whichever new QB the Giants may have in their sights.

2. Carolina Panthers

What's the issue with Cam Newton lately? The answer to that may be his lack of a true No.1 receiver. Yes, he has counted on Greg Olson over the last few tears but after that, the Panthers have prayed that others will be able to fill a void that's been missing since the departure of Steve Smith.

While Newton is not viewed as one of the most accurate passers in the NFL, that doesn't mean he can't get the ball downfield. With speedy rookie D.J. Moore, the Panthers took their shots. The issue for this team has been they have shifted more toward the safe route with RB Christian McCaffrey and his 100+ receptions in 2018. By adding a dynamic player like Odell Beckham Jr, that will give Newton a threat that could take the Panthers'offense to the next level.

The question now is, what will the Panthers have to give up? The Giants may ask for two first-rounders for Odell. If that's the case, they why not make the deal? The Panthers faltered the second-half of the season as the defense made mental errors and the offense became to predicable. Despite there issues, the team is still on the cusp of contention.

1. Buffalo Bills

Not saying that the Bills are one player away but, adding Odell to their youth movement could be considered a game changer. With the Bills being one of the surprise teams in 2018 with six victories, they're not that far off. Rookie QB Josh Allen, while not yet a lights-out player managed to have a pretty productive season.

With LeSean McCoy often on the sideline nursing an injury, Allen took it upon himself to show that he's more than a passer. Allen rushed for 631 yards and eight TD's but it was his lack of weapons at the receiver position that forced him to showcase other skills. By adding Beckham, Allen should be able to improve on his dismal 52.6 percent completion percentage in 2018.

The Bills will have picks to surrender and one of their main targets in the 2019 NFL Draft will be a receiver. During the year, the Bills top receiver managed just 56 passes for 652 yards and seven touchdowns. While Zay Jones is not a household name, he could really turn into something special with a top-flight receiver opposite him.
