The Brooklyn Nets will look to get to the mountain top this year after falling short to the Milwaukee Bucks in the Eastern Conference Semifinals last season.

If the big three of Kevin Durant, James Harden and Kyrie Irving can all stay healthy, taking out the Nets will be a brutal task for anyone in the NBA.

With the superstars comes plenty of exposure to nationally televised games. With the NBA schedule release now upon us, here are three must watch game for the Nets following the NBA schedule release.

3.) vs. New York Knicks / November 30th

The battle for NYC works through Brooklyn after the Nets took the season series from the New York Knicks last year. While the Knicks aren't to the Nets' tier yet in terms of superstar talent and top shelf title aspirations, the rivalry between the fans have helped pump life into this matchup.

While the battle at Madison Square Garden will be just as sweet, the Nets will have an extra boost of motivation to protect their own home floor at Barclays Center when the Knicks stroll in.

Brooklyn figures to be jockeying for the top seed in the Eastern Conference while the Knicks will likely be somewhere in the middle of the pack. Still, this Nets – Knicks matchup will be appointment television.

2.) @ Los Angeles Lakers / December 25th (Christmas Day)

The Nets will be bringing back their own version of a big three this season with the trio having a year of chemistry under their belts.

Meanwhile, the Los Angeles Lakers have pieced together a big three of their own in LeBron James, Anthony Davis and the newly acquired Russell Westbrook.

This matchup is filled with storylines all over the place. For starters, many believe the Nets and Lakers are destined to meet in the NBA Finals next year. Secondly, this being a Christmas Day matchup on national television makes it immediate appointment television, as if it already wouldn't be. Lastly, the Durant – Westbrook angle is always in play when the two square off.

They have had their verbal exchanges in the past after Durant left Oklahoma City and bolted to the Golden State Warriors, leaving Westbrook high and dry.

This Nets – Lakers matchup has all the ingredients to be perfect.

1.) @ Milwaukee Bucks / October 19 (Opening Night)

It was the Milwaukee Bucks who eliminated the Nets in the postseason last year and it's the Bucks who went on to win the NBA title.

The schedule makers of the NBA wasted no time in setting up a rematch between the Nets and the Bucks.

Brooklyn will travel to Milwaukee on opening night, October 19th as the Bucks will undoubtedly have some sort of banner raising or championship recognition festivities before the game. If that doesn't piss the Nets off and have them fired up, not much else will.

The Nets will have all the motivation in the world to clip the Bucks on their home floor on the opening night of the season and that makes this the number one, must watch game on Brooklyn's schedule.

The full schedule is here.
