Juventus has had one hectic past week in the unpredictable world of the transfer market.

It was only last week that Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri halted the rumors of Cristiano Ronaldo possibly leaving the club, as he noted that the Portuguese star would stay on with the team this season.

In a dramatic turn of events, Ronaldo reportedly requested to leave Juventus on Thursday and in a mere 24 hours later, he returned to Premier League side Manchester United.

Juventus surely could not have foreseen this coming, especially at this late stage in the summer transfer window. But now, the club is reportedly shifting gears as it is looking to sign a forward capable of helping to replace Ronaldo's staggering goal production.

These three players would be suitable short-term fits for Juventus.

Moise Kean — Everton

This potential transfer just makes sense for both the player and club.

One recent report noted that Juventus club officials have shortlisted notable players as possible signings following Ronaldo's sudden departure. Among the players who the club is considering hauling in is Everton forward Moise Kean — a player who made his professional debut with the Bianconeri.

The Italian talent spent the last season with Paris Saint-Germain, where he wound up raising his transfer value following a formidable campaign in Ligue 1. He notched 13 goals in league play as he found success under both Thomas Tuchel and current PSG manager Mauricio Pochettino.

Kean may not be a player who can come in and help replace Ronaldo's goal-scoring production. But considering his experience in playing under Allegri's 4-4-2 setup and versatility as a forward, this possible signing is one that Juventus club officials can not pass up.

If there was ever a time for a reunion between Juventus and Kean, the final week of the ongoing summer transfer window would certainly be it.

Luka Jovic — Real Madrid

Juventus has a multitude of options on just what to do following Ronaldo's sudden departure from the club. The Serie A giants could surprise the footballing world by shelling out a grand fee for a notable name.

On the other hand, Juventus could instead look towards next year's summer transfer window to find a long-term replacement for Ronaldo. If this happens to be the case, the club could then aim to haul in a forward on a mere one-season loan deal before the deadline day.

At this late stage in the summer transfer window, there are not many clubs in Europe that would consider sending off a notable forward on a loan stint. However, this could always change in the coming days, especially in Real Madrid's case.

The La Liga side is reportedly aiming to sign Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappe on a blockbuster permanent transfer deal. If Mbappe goes on to join Real Madrid, Los Blancos could then look to offload a forward or two, which may include Luka Jovic.

The Serbian striker has not had much to go his way over his run with Real Madrid so far; he has scored a mere two goals over three seasons with the club.

Still, Jovic could be a viable one-season solution to Juventus' new striker dilemma.

In Allegri's 4-4-2 setup, Jovic could find his place playing alongside a secondary striker, which oftentimes would be Paulo Dybala. The Argentine forward is one talent with a superb prowess to roam with the ball in Zone 14, which can often provide him with opportunities to slot in key passes into the penalty box. More so, Jovic's off-ball movement is one area of his play that can allow him to waltz inside the penalty box and haul in such passes from teammates.

Whether in playing alongside a versatile talent like Dybala or the more stern striker in Alvaro Morata, Jovic could rejuvenate his career with a possible one-season loan stint at Juventus.

Domenico Berardi — Sassuolo

Juventus could look for another reunion in Italian and Sassuolo winger Domenico Berardi.

In the case that Juventus prefers to make a low risk, high reward signing before the summer transfer window closes, Berardi would be a keen solution to this dilemma.

Berardi would offer versatility in Allegri's 4-4-2 setup, from occupying the wide right midfielder role to being slotted upfront as a secondary striker.

The veteran Serie A winger exerts a keen presence in matches with his simplistic on-ball play. He can cause havoc out on the flanks or push play into the attacking third with relative ease. More so, he has a knack to be involved in playmaking sequences; he recorded seven assists and a noteworthy 1.9 key passes per game average in Serie A play last season.

Berardi is far from being a similar profile to that of Ronaldo, but at the least, he would be a key addition to the team's forward depth.

Juventus will surely have plenty of options over the final week of the ongoing summer transfer window.
