While the Dallas Cowboys have looked as impressive as any team so far this season, they haven't exactly played teams that strike fear into an opponent's heart. Facing the New York Giants (with Eli Manning), Washington Redskins, and Miami Dolphins, who boast a combined record of 1-8, the Cowboys have enjoyed arguably the easiest early-season schedule in football.

The New Orleans Saints have much bigger aspiration than any of the aforementioned squads, and although star quarterback Drew Brees is out for the season's remainder, the Saints are not ones to be underestimated by the Cowboys in Week 4 – especially with Alvin Kamara coming off a huge game. There are going to be players that need to step up in order for Dallas to not only win the game, but prove that Kellen Moore's ballyhooed offense can be effective against good teams.

These three Cowboys will loom largest to the outcome of Sunday's highly-anticipated matchup.

3. Randall Cobb

The first of these players is receiver Randall Cobb. His signing went a bit under the radar, but his first game proved that he can be a legitimate threat. Although Amari Cooper only had a precautionary MRI, it is an MRI nonetheless and if he is hampered in any way they will need Cobb to step up on Sunday night.

In addition, Dallas' number two receiver, Michael Gallup, is still sidelined while recovering from arthroscopic knee injury. While they haven't exactly needed more offensive help so far, this game in particular will call for Cobb to perform better than his last two outings

2. Jason Witten

Another offensive weapon that is due for a big game is 37-year-old former broadcaster Jason Witten. For the same reasons Cobb is going to be utilized more, Witten can be that short yardage and red-zone threat for Dallas. So far this season New Orleans has defended the tight end position fairly well, only allowing 13 receptions for 130 yards and a score.

If New Orleans is able to exploit any physical limitations to Cooper, then Prescott will be forced to look towards other options, leaving old, reliable Witten as the man who can benefit from an increased target share. Already getting into the end zone twice this year, Sunday will call for Witten to be a primary red-zone target.

1. Dak Prescott

Finally, the man who will be responsible for keeping pace with the New Orleans offense will be the player who will maybe need to step up more than anyone. Dak Prescott has looked great so far, even MVP-worthy, but this will be his biggest test by far. He will be in charge of commanding Moore's offense while having Saints star pass-rusher Cam Jordan breathing down his neck.

Prescott should not be doubted. But considering the teams he has played so far, this will be his toughest test yet to prove that he's developed into one of the league's truly elite signal-callers.
