The 2018 campaign was nothing short of a disaster for the Jacksonville Jaguars, as they won just five games a year after making it all the way to the AFC Championship Game and looking like a legitimate Super Bowl contender.

Now, the Jaguars have much more modest hopes going into 2019, as no one expects this team to make the Super Bowl, and not many even expect them to contend for the playoffs.

But Jacksonville has made some changes that it hopes will serve it well this offseason, most notably at quarterback, where the Jags went from the much-maligned Blake Bortles to Nick Foles.

Of course, even with the change under center, there are still a ton of question marks for this club heading into this season, and a lot of that will need to be sorted out in training camp and preseason.

So, here are the three Jaguars players with the most to gain in training camp:

3. Geoff Swaim

Jacksonville received incredibly limited production from the tight end position this past year, so to try and remedy that problem, the Jags went out and made a bargain signing in Geoff Swaim.

Swaim spent the first four years of his career with the Dallas Cowboys and is coming off of a season in which he caught 26 passes for 242 yards and a touchdown. Great numbers? Hardly, but Swaim is just 25 years old, and at a cheap price, it's worth a try.

Foles loved using his tight ends in Philadelphia, so perhaps he will be able to develop some camaraderie with Swaim and actually utilize him as a useful weapon in the passing game.

Swaim will be battling it out with James O'Shaughnessy and rookie Josh Oliver for the starting job, so an impressive training camp would certainly help his case.

2. Chris Conley

Once upon a time, Foles briefly played for the Kansas City Chiefs, serving as a backup, but during that time, he formed a connection and a bond with a wide receiver name Chris Conley, whom the Jaguars signed this offseason.

Conley is a talented receiver who simply hasn't been given a big opportunity yet. He hauled in 32 receptions for 334 yards and five touchdowns during his final season with the Chiefs in 2018, and now, he will have a chance to compete for a big role in Jacksonville's offense.

The 26-year-old may still be the Jags' No. 3 receiver behind Dede Westbrook and Marqise Lee, but he has a chance to make an impact in 2019 and may very well end up becoming one of Foles' top two wideouts as the season progresses.

Of course, because Conley is sort of starting behind the 8-ball, he will need to have a strong showing this summer in order to win over the coaching staff.

1. Leonard Fournette

This might sound strange, given the fact that Leonard Fournette is the clear starter for the Jaguars in the backfield, but Fournette's 2018 campaign was so abysmal that he really needs to get off on the right foot going into 2019.

Fournette played in just eight games due to injury in 2018, finishing with 439 yards and five touchdowns while averaging a meager 3.3 yards per carry. Sure, the Jags' inconsistent offensive line deserved some blame, but Fournette was clearly out of shape, and he has yet to learn how to make the most of his carries.

Even during his rookie season when he racked up 1,040 yards, he still registered just 3.9 yards per attempt, so Fournette is not an efficient rusher and needs to start becoming one if he wants to have an extended career as a No. 1 back.

It's no secret that the Jaguars weren't exactly happy with Fournette in 2018, so there is certainly a bullseye on his back heading into this season.
