With the Tennessee Titans seemingly in a bit of a transition period, they'll be looking for new faces to arise and take the mantle of players past. Out the door went the likes of A.J. Brown, Rashaan Evans, and Rodger Saffold, and in came Austin Hooper, Robert Woods and other veteran players along with the full 2022 draft class.

Mike Vrabel will be hoping some of these additions will be able to make an impact from Day 1. With that in mind, let's take a look at three players who have a chance to do just that, and stamp their mark on the 2022 NFL season for the Titans.

Titans Breakout Players for 2022 NFL Season

1. Treylon Burks

The big prize of the draft and the player with the most expectations placed on his shoulders of any addition to this roster over the course of the offseason, Treylon Burks has some big shoes to fill as the replacement for A.J. Brown. Burks may have a bit more help than Brown did for most of last season with the signing of Robert Woods, but we'll get to him in a moment. Burks logged 1,104 yards on just 66 catches last season at Arkansas, with 11 of those ending in trips to paydirt.

If he can produce anywhere near those numbers as a rookie, he'll be invaluable to the Titans' offense, and Titans fans will replace their mourning and grief over losing Brown with ecstasy over having Treylon Burks.

2. Robert Woods

After five very productive seasons with the Los Angeles Rams, Bobby Trees was traded to the Titans and will undoubtedly help lead the line as Treylon Burks adjusts to the speed of the NFL. With nearly 4,700 yards and 23 scores across his time in LA, Woods became one of the most dependable options for Sean McVay's offense, and that stat count includes the 2021 season in which Woods missed 11 games including playoffs due to an ACL tear.

Woods' recovery from that injury is reportedly ahead of schedule, and he may be a full go when training camp opens in July. He has already done some work with the team in minicamps, which bodes well for his availability in the future. Much like Burks, if he's even close to what he was in LA, he'll become a very important part of this roster moving forward, no matter the quarterback.

3. Kyle Philips

All wide receivers for this list sounds pretty boring on it's face, but I assure you, this is more a statement on the depth of the receiving corps last season than anything else. Philips arrives from UCLA having notched 739 yards and 10 scores last season, in addition to 203 return yards and one score there as well. During the buildup to the draft, Philips had an incredible weekend of practice at the Shrine Bowl in Las Vegas, and as a result, skyrocketed up draft boards before being taken by the Titans.

Philips has incredible route-running acumen and his acceleration in and out of breaks is one of the best in the class. Some compared him to Hunter Renfrow, and if he's able to be that kind of player for the Titans, he'd surely be able to draw attention away from the other receivers on the outside, be it Burks, Woods, or Nick Westbrook-Ikhine. His return abilities also should prove incredibly useful for the Titans, who have lacked a real threat in the return game for years, really since the days of Marc Mariani almost a decade ago.

Even if he doesn't score on any returns this season, if Philips can just put the offense in better field position more often, the fans will be absolutely ecstatic.
