The Green Bay Packers have missed the playoffs in each of the last two seasons. It has been a rough two season for the proud franchise and they went through quite a few changes this offseason in an attempt to fix all of the issues.

First and foremost, the Packers made the decision to fire head coach Mike McCarthy last season. He was not getting the job done and despite the success he has had in the past, the team was forced to make a move. Matt LaFleur was hired to be the team's new head coach this offseason.

Aaron Rodgers and the Packers' offense was pretty good last year, although there were some consistency issues. Randall Cobb left town in free agency, but a healthy Rodgers is going to make a major impact. Green Bay did go out and sign offensive lineman Billy Turner and also drafted offensive lineman Elgton Jenkins.

Defensively, the Packers knew they needed to make some big moves. Brian Gutekunst was able to make those big moves, signing free agents Preston Smith, Za'Darius Smith, and Adrian Amos. Green Bay also drafted Rashan Gary and Darnell Savage to beef up the defense.

All of that being said, what are the Packers' three main priorities as they get ready to entering training camp?

3. Get the Defense on the Same Page

Mike Pettine certainly has more talent than he had to work with last year, but there are still some questions that will have to be answered. Can all of the new pieces come together as one unit and be the improved defense that the Packers desperately need?

Making sure everyone is on the same page and knows the schemes well enough is certainly a priority. For Gary and Savage especially, entering the NFL and picking up a defense can be a bit tough. If the Packers' defense plays up to their potential, they are going to be a tough team to beat.

2. Figure Out Who the No. 2 Receiver Is Going To Be

Another big priority for the Packers will be figuring out who is going to step up and take the role left by Cobb. Outside of Davante Adams, there are a ton of question marks at the wide receiver position for Green Bay.

Marquez Valdes-Scantling and Geronimo Allison are the two favorites to end up as the No. 2 receiver. In addition to those numbers, Equanimeous St. Brown, Jake Kumerow, and J'Mon Moore could also earn playing time. Green Bay needs to figure this out quickly.

1. Getting Rodgers and the Rest of the Offense Into Matt LaFleur's Offense

Finally, any time a coaching change is made, there is a bit of a learning curve. Green Bay needs to make sure that Rodgers and the rest of the offense is completely understanding the Packers' new offense.

Green Bay has the talent to have a very dangerous offense with Rodgers leading the way. LaFleur is an offensive guru and is going to be making major changes to the game plan from what it has been. It will be interesting to see how the Packers end up looking when the regular season arrives.
