The Milwaukee Bucks are once again playing like the best team in basketball this year. Although they haven't necessarily had the year that they were hoping for, they have still played very well and have beaten some worthy opponents who they are bound to see come playoff time.

They did a great job last offseason by re-signing Bobby Portis, who is playing some of the best basketball of his career, and also bringing in Grayson Allen who has really shot the three-point shot at a high rate and has been a major addition to this team.

Just like every team in the NBA, there are still some questions about this Bucks team. Let's take a look at three questions about the Bucks for the remainder of the season.

Questions About The Bucks

3. Is Brook Lopez going to return as good as he was?

Perhaps the biggest question of the season for the Milwaukee Bucks is if Brook Lopez is going to be able to return, and if he does, will he be as good as he was a year ago. Lopez has been a major reason why the Bucks have found so much except the last few seasons because of the way that they play defense.

Everybody who watches the Milwaukee Bucks knows that if you are not a high-level defender or give everything you have on the defensive side of the ball, head coach Mike Budenholzer might not play you unless your name is Bobby Portis.

If the Bucks are going to want to find any success for the remainder of the year, they're going to need to have Brook out there.

Of course, Giannis Antetokounmpo is that good where he could fill in that center position and the Bucks could still win an NBA title. There's no denying that they are arguably still the best team in the NBA at the moment but it will be much easier for this team if Lopez can return.

If they do not feel that he can return the way he was before the injury, as crazy as it might sound, the Bucks might decide to go out and get another center and decide to get rid of Lopez. It wouldn't necessarily be the greatest idea because when he is on the court, he is one of the best centers in the NBA and certainly one of the most underrated. He stretches the floor at an elite level and he's also one of the best rim protectors that the league has to offer.

2. Who is going to be traded out of Donte DiVincenzo and Jordan Nwora?

Just like every other contending team, the front office is going to want to make moves once again this trade deadline. It will be interesting to see what they do because they don't necessarily have a ton of draft picks that they can trade and they don't have a ton of players that they could decide to get rid of. There is no doubt that Jordan Nwora and Donte DiVincenzo are the two best players that the Bucks have to trade so it will be interesting to see which one they do decide to get rid of.

A year ago, it would have been easily Nwora but at the moment, it might be better for them to trade DiVincenzo. He hasn't looked great ever since returning from his injury and that could be his final straw in Milwaukee. They don't have time to wait for somebody to get back healthy and then not even play as well as he can be when he does return.

It will be interesting to see what type of player the Bucks do decide to go after but they can always use an extra guy to throw at Kevin Durant. Wesley Matthews, their mid-season pick-up, has done a great job on some elite league scores so far. There are always other guys out there and the Bucks are going to want as many guys as possible to be thrown at elite scorers come playoff time.

1. Can the defending champs get it done again?

This has been an interesting season for everybody in the NBA. The Bucks have certainly not looked as good some nights as they did a year ago but through about the halfway mark, this team still has a similar record to the team a year ago.

As the Bucks have shown, when they play against teams like the Golden State Warriors, Brooklyn Nets, Philadelphia 76ers, and many other contending teams, they go out there and play their best basketball and beat these teams easily. There's no reason to think right now that the Milwaukee Bucks can not get the job done once again because they have proven that they can beat all of the top teams in the NBA.
