The Indiana Pacers might have the most questions out of any team in the NBA. Perhaps the biggest question about this Pacers team is how they haven't found the success that they should have found for the past few seasons.

Indiana has made it clear that they are going to trade a few of their players. It is going to be interesting to see what players they do decide to move on with and who they decide to bring back.

Let's take a look at three questions about the Pacers for the remainder of the 2022 season.

Pacers Questions 2022

3. Is it a full rebuild or just a retool?

The biggest question about this Pacer team is going to be if they are going to go into a full rebuild mode or go into a retool mode. It would make sense that they do decide to go either way because what they have now clearly isn't working and it seems as if many of their players do not want to be a part of the organization.

It would make sense that they do decide to go into a retool mode because they have many players that are talented and if they can just bring in a few guys who can play next to them better than what they have now, they can be a team that is scary and can make some noise in the Eastern Conference. With their roster, it doesn't really make sense why this team is not competing at the moment. When looking at their roster, they are loaded. There are players on their teams who are going to go to other teams and make immediate impacts and help them win ball games.

It would make sense that they do decide to go into a rebuild mode because what they have now clearly isn't working and unless they can get back favorable returns for every player that they are going to trade, the future of Indiana is going to continue a being as bad as it is right now.

They do need to decide what they are going to do with this team but they can go in either direction. It would be best for them to sit down with some of their players and see if they actually want to stay in Indiana because as previously noted, it doesn't seem like many of them want to be there.

2. What exactly is Indiana looking to get back?

Since Indiana is going to trade some of their bigger pieces, they need to figure out what exactly they are looking for.

This is another question that can't necessarily be answered until they decide if they are going to go into a rebuild mode or a retool mode. Indiana might go into that rebuild mode and if they do, they are definitely going to be looking for some draft picks and younger players who can help speed up that process.

If they do decide to go into a retool mode, they have to figure out what players they are going to keep and how exactly they want to build around them. If they can get back some veterans who can come in and make an immediate impact, it would make a lot of sense for them to decide to retool.

They have a lot of talent on their team including guys like Myles Turner, Domantas Sabonis, Malcolm Brogdon, Caris LeVert, and many others. If they can just bring in guys that can help this team, they will be a decent team in the future.

1. Who is getting traded?

According to the Pacers organization and their front office, there are going to be plenty of moves during the trade deadline. There have been rumors that Myles Turner, Domantas Sabonis, Caris LeVert, and others could potentially be moved. There have also been rumors that they're only going to trade a few of their guys and try to retool their team.

The question with the Pacers now is who is going to be moved?

If the Pacers decide to trade some of their top guys, it could come back to hurt them in the long run. Obviously, if they can go out and get somebody who is of similar talent to a player that they are trading, they could find success in the near future.

The biggest question about this Pacer team for the remainder of the year up until the trade deadline is who they are going to trade.

There are many options that they can decide to move but they have to factor in the type of return that each player can get and what they want to do with their organization. This question is only going to be answered if they are going to go into a full rebuild mode or just retool their organization.
